Approximately 18,500 copies of The Good News are printed 9 times a year -- distributed to parishes at the beginning of each month, with the exceptions of December/January, April/May and July/August. Readership is estimated at more than 50,000.

Editorial Philosophy
The heart of The Good News is the reporting, features and photos of the people, events and parishes throughout the nine Michigan counties in the diocese.
In addition to diocesan news, The Good News is committed to communicating the authentic teachings of the Catholic Church. It includes current news and reflections from the Vatican, United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Michigan Catholic Conference. Additional commentaries relate to spiritual, moral and ethical issues.

Editorial submissions are due by the posted deadline to be considered for that month’s publication. Inclusion of editorial content is at the sole discretion of the editor.
